IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT REMINDERS
RULES OF PLAY
Effective January 2019 – Rules of Golf of the R&A and the usga shall govern play and where applicable, by the ACCI Local Rules.
The tournament shall be 36-hole modified stableford competiton among teams of two individuals, an ACCI Member and his or her guest.
Only handicap index cards coming from the Unified National Handicapping System of the Philippines shall be accepted. Foreign participants may submit handicap index recognized by the USGA or thr R&A of St. Andrews.
The ACCI Members shall use his or her December 2019 handicap index. In the event that the ACCI Members has not yet established a handicap index, he or she may use his/her lowest December 2019 handicap index from other clubs where appropriate. If he or she has none, he or she will play with a zero (0) handicap.
A guest shall use his or her lowest UNHS handicap index for December 2019. If he/she cannot submit a handicap index, he/she shall play with a zero (0) handicap unless the Committee determines that the guest may have a plus (+) handicap. The maximum allowed handicap for male guest is 15.9 or an equivalent of 18 at ACCI.
Female participants shall be given a handicap adjustment of six (6) strokes on top of their Blue Tee Handicap as stipulated in Rule 3.5 of the USGA Handicap Manual. The maximum handicap for lady guest is 25.
Handicap indices of guest should be submitted to the ACCI Golf Office or the Starter’s Kiosk before the tournament (January 23, 2020). Please ensure that Neneng Palmares or her staff receives your certified handicap.
A Ball that lies on the edging groove around the green may be lifted, without penalty and placed immediately behind the original position of the ball.
The following points will be awarded for a player’s score in a hole net of his / her handicap.
A natural hole in one will be awarded five (5) points plus handicap strokes, if any.
When playing for a net double bogey, it is mandatory for a player to pick up his / her ball. Otherwise, his / her team will be penalized with a two (2) point deduction.
SIZE OF FIELD AND TEE-OFF SCHEDULE
The field will be divided into four (4) classes – A, B, C and D. The ACCI member’s handicap will determine the team’s classification.
Tee-off will be through shotgun starts at 6:15 A.M. and 12:15 P.M. for the morning and afternoon groups respectively.

Hole assignments will be announced during the Welcome Cacktails and will likewise be posted on ACCI Bulletin Boards.
On the second playing day:
Teams who are leading their respective classes will be grouped together in the same flight. Thus, these leading teams may not have the same flight mates as they had on their first playing day.
Scoring marshals shall be assigned to these Leaderboard flights in order to enhance scoring integrity.
DECLARATION OF WINNERS
The team with the highest number of points after 36 holes shall be declared the Overall Champion and will have their names engraved on the permanent Mango Tee Invitational Tournament Trophy.
Each class shall have a Team Champion and Runner-up. Each team member shall likewise be awarded a trophy.
Trophies shall also be given to members of the team with the lowest gross score for the tournament.
The team with the highest points of the second round score, or if still tied,
Most number net eagles, birdies, pars and bogeys, or toss of a coin.
HOLE IN ONE
In case there is more than one Hole-In-One on a designated hole during the tournament, the prize corresponding to that hole will be shared equally among the winners in the manner agreed upon by the said winners.
